Vuka Thuthuka

Vuka Thuthuka is a family adventure comedy animation series (ages 8–12) from Digital Characters, a Johannesburg studio. When the grown-ups won't fix it, a crew of sharp, funny kids takes matters into their own hands — a feel-good story about community, hustle and rising up together. In development and open to co-production and licensing.

About the show

Vuka Thuthuka follows a scrappy, big-dreaming crew of kids who decide their community is worth fighting for. Armed with nothing but ingenuity and heart, they turn everyday problems into extraordinary escapades.

Uplifting and full of humour, the series is a love letter to the next generation — proof that change often starts with the smallest, boldest voices in the room.
